Dear Meseret, I highly recommend my Pro-Vita C Eye Maintenance Gel to help alleviate under eye puffiness and dark circles. I find that when I travel a great deal I tend to get sleepy eyes, and when I have to make a television appearance the next morning the last thing I need is puffiness, and the eye gel seems to have an immediate effect at reducing the puffiness. I cant recommend a better eye product than this. You can try a temporary anti-puffiness tip for your eyes that really works if you need immediate help. Soak a cotton ball or pad in chilled Milk of Magnesia (keep refrigerated). Apply under each eye and let dry several minutes to de-puff. Then rinse off with lukewarm water.
The eye area is the first to show signs of aging so like to recommend beginning a good eye treatment in the early twenties. What you start now will pay back very well in your forties. There are different reasons for puffy eyes, possibly even hereditary and your guess is as good as mine as to why this happens but one thing we know for certain is how to treat it.
