PLEASE READ:

If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: Horrible reaction to Night Radiance = PAINFUL BLISTERS!
Date: March 20, 2004 at 10:04 am PST

Please help. My wife's face is causing her considerable pain
right now and that is *not* an exaggeration. She used the
Radiance kit without using any other products/brands. Nor did
she eat or drink anything different than the norm. Our laundry
detergent is the same as it has been for several years. She
doesn't abuse alcohol or use street drugs. She isn't on any
type of medication although we each take a Bayer Aspirin each
day to hopefully prevent future heart disease if that's
possible. In short, we can think of nothing besides the Lamas
products that could have caused this.

I'm typing this for her but the following words are hers:

Something has really wrecked my face!

I used my new Night Radiance for the first time last night.
This morning I have a face full of small blisters. I didn'y say
'pimples' - these are BLISTERS. I could tell something was
wrong before looking in the mirror due to my discomfort. Of
course, I became emotional when I saw my face and I made
things worse by crying.

And worse still by wiping away the tears. I gently used my
Dermalogica Face Chamios (which is soft and smooth) dampened
only with distilled water. Even though I was VERY gentle my
skin just peeled away from the tops of these blisters ~
releasing a watery yellow substance which gave way to bleeding.

Even the areas where no apparant damage has surfaced is really
painful to the touch. My skin feels raw.

There's also a burning sensation which may be caused by the
saline from my tears. My face is an angry shade of red.

I'm approaching 40 years of age and have never had this type of
reaction to any other skin care or cosmetic product. Nothing
even comes close to this. I have no known allergies. As
Michael stated, no other apparant factors are involved.

Is this a common reaction?
Has ANYONE EVER reported this reaction?
Should I try applying a topical antibiotic?
How can I alleviate the pain? (Tylenol hasn't helped.)
How can I prevent scarring??!!
Which ingredient might be the culprit?

Thank you
