Spring
has sprung with lots of colors that are bright and playful.
How can you incorporate it into your wardrobe to
update it for the season without breaking the bank?
Here are some suggestions for maintaining your professional image
while updating for this season.
- What is nice this spring is that the colors that have come off
the runway are not the usual pastels as in the past, but strong
pinks, greens and blues that are reminiscent of the 70's.
- Purchase a bright green or blue jacket to wear
with a winter white or black skirt. Navy is also
a good choice to coordinate with the spring greens.
- Consider scarves and belts as a way to incorporate
springs strong pinks and blues into your wardrobe.
- Also try a handbag in one of spring's strong
colors. Wear a matching color scarf or jacket
to bring the color to the whole outfit.
- Although springs strong pinks and other colors are tempting
for shoes, consider stripy sandals for your time
rather than work. Keep to the neutrals such as black,
grey, camel, or navy so as not to draw attention to your
feet.
- Consider also a shirt in one of spring's new colors
to update your wardrobe either in a pullover variety
or as a traditional shirt silhouette.
- Regarding jewelry, keep to the classics of gold, silver
or pearls. All look great with this season's new line-up.
This spring you don't have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe
to look "in fashion." Just a few key pieces will put you on track
for this season without breaking the bank. Enjoy! |
