Eye
Openers - Fresh Ideas for Eyes
MIRROR
PERFECT. The best way to put on eye makeup isn't standing
in front of your bathroom mirror. Instead, sit down at a table
or desk and place a tilt-able, standing mirror on the table in
front of you.
Look
down into the mirror and you'll see the advantage - you can see
more of your lid and eye area at this angle, for more control.
Sitting and looking down, you have a smoother lid to work on and
you don't have to squint or close an eye to put on makeup.
This
technique is especially good if you're doing more elaborate eye
designs - for example, using 2 or 3 shadows, false lashes and
placing a dark shadow in the crease to make the area more defined.
INNER
LID OVERLOAD. When you apply eye shadow, don't start
at the inside corner of the lid, by the side of the nose, it leads
to having the heaviest shadow deposit there where you don't want
it. Instead, place the applicator, loaded with shadow, an inch
away from the inside corner and stroke outward, across the fullest
part of the lid. Then, add the last bit of color to the inner
corner closest to the nose.
DOUBLE
YOUR LASH POTENTIAL. The Lamas Night Radiance Lash
Masque fortifies, protects and supports lashes in their quest
to be full, lush and thick. Apply Lash Masque before you apply
mascara and again, at bedtime, to help lashes get more beauty
sleep and look gorgeous at the same time. You
can learn more about the Lash Masque at www.lamasbeauty.com
THE
LOOK OF MORE, MORE, MORE LASHES. Smudge a plum, brown
or charcoal gray pencil liner along the outer third of the lower
and upper lashes right at the roots before you add mascara for
the look of dense, intense lashes even if nature forgot.
