Spring Hairstyle Update

If you’ve grown accustomed to either straightening your hair to military precision, or blowing it up until it’s as big as the state of Texas, you’ll be happy to hear about the new look for Spring – which is fresh and natural. Low maintenance is in with the green leaves of Spring, high maintenance is out with Winter’s snow plow.

Some women may have fine-tuned their high maintenance habits to the point where they may have forgotten what low maintenance means. For those who need a reminder, here’s Peter Lamas’ primer to low maintenance (aka “natural”) hair.

1) Let your hair dry naturally. Blow driers can remove body from your hair, and even damage it. Spritz on a touch of REPAIR ME conditioning and detangling mist to help smooth frizzies and flyaways.

2) To add body to hair without rollers, spray hair lightly with HOLD ME styling spray, and twist hair into a simple bun with a scrunchy. Let hair set for about 30 minutes. Hair will be soft and wavy without looking overly fussy and processed.

3) Sweep clean, air-dried hair away from face and gather it into a pony tail. Accent pony tail with a pretty ribbon, and scatter some colorful bobby pins around head. Don’t worry about perfection – part of the charm of this style is its looseness.
